A train loaded with agricultural products and mechanical parts departed Xinxiang in Henan province for Hanoi, Vietnam, on Saturday.

With 46 twenty-foot equivalent units, weighing 407.5 metric tons and with a total value of $5.18 million, the train will cross the border at Pingxiang port in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. It will take five to seven days to arrive at Hanoi.

It is the first freight train from Xinxiang to Southeast Asia, providing more convenient access for Henan businesses to the Southeast Asian market.
