Nearly 6,000 cultural relics and numerous human skeletons and animal remains have been unearthed at Jiahu Site, Henan Province. A total of 17 engraved scripts were found, which, according to the carbon-14 test, proved to be one of the earliest embryonic characters, dating back to about 8,000 years ago. Besides this, Jiahu Site has another 10 "tops of the world", including the earliest wine, turquoise jewelry, etc.
