HK students experience Tai Chi in Jiaozuo

Recently, HK students visited the birthplace of Chen’s Tai Chi--Chenjiagou in Jiaozuo City, Henan Province. After watching different kinds of performances of Tai Chi, students got interested in this sport and learned from the professionals. Lin Haoxing from City University of Hong Kong said that Tai Chi is a prominent part of Chinese martial arts, and after experiencing it by himself, he understood the philosophy of this sport better. 

近日，“2023范长江行动——香港传媒学子中原行”活动走进河南焦作，期间探访了陈氏太极拳发源地——温县陈家沟。在观看了太极单剑、太极拳综合套路、太极推手、老架一路等太极拳表演后，香港学子们也跃跃欲试，或现场“拜师学艺”，或实际感受推手的内在威力，不亦乐乎。来自香港城市大学的林浩星表示，太极是中国武术的佼佼者，在亲身体验过推手之后，他也更加理解了什么是“静如山岳，动若江河”。
