NOTICE ON LOGO DESIGN COMPETITION

 

河南国际传播中心是由河南省委宣传部指导、河南日报社运营管理的国际传播专业媒体机构,致力于发展成为世界读懂河南的“新窗口”、河南外文信息的“数据库”、全省对外传播的“扬声器”、服务海外用户的“好帮手”。2023年6月21日,河南国际传播中心在郑州揭牌。

Henan International Communication Center (HICC) is a professional media organization guided by the Publicity Department of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee and operated by Henan Daily. It is committed to developing a "new window" for the world to understand Henan, a "database" for foreign news about Henan, a "speaker" for Henan stories, and a "good helper" for overseas users. On June 21, 2023, HICC was unveiled in Zhengzhou City, Central China's Henan Province.

为提高河南的国际形象和影响力,通过LOGO这种更立体形象、具有感官冲击力的形式,集中展示河南的发展活力、通达交通、厚重文化和锦绣山河,体现河南联接古今、融通中外的综合魅力,现面向全球征集河南国际传播中心标识设计方案。

HICC marks the beginning of a new phase for Henan's international communication, which will not only be the pacesetter of telling Henan's stories well, but also a solid contributor to presenting a true, multi-dimensional, and panoramic view of Henan, including Henan's development potential, transportation networks, diverse culture, and splendid land, etc. We cordially invite creative talents to participate in our HICC Logo Design Competition and submit designs for a new logo to celebrate this important milestone.

 

一、征集主题:河南国际传播中心LOGO设计征集大赛

本次LOGO征集面向全球公开征集,国内外专业设计机构、设计师、高等院校艺术设计类专业师生以及设计爱好者均可参与。

Submission of logos is open to all teams and individuals, domestic and international, professionals and amateurs. Teachers and students of art and design majors in higher education institutions abroad and overseas are also welcome to join.  

五、评选办法

V. Evaluation Process

本次征集坚持“公开、公平、公正”的原则,采取初评、网络投票、专家评审、终评的方式进行。

The solicitation adheres to "openness, fairness, and impartiality" principles and is conducted through initial evaluation, online voting, expert evaluation, and final evaluation.

初评:将征集到的作品由组委会进行初评,确定进入网评作品名单。

Initial evaluation: The judging panel will select the entries that will be voted on online.

网络投票:将初评的作品在官方媒体平台发起网络评选。

Online voting: Online voting of the initially evaluated works.

专家评审:查重后综合网络投票结果和作品质量,取前60名作品,提供给评审专家打分。

Expert evaluation: After the robust intellectual property checks, the top 60 entries will be selected based on the online voting results and the works' quality and provided to the experts for scoring.

终评:综合以上评选结果,确定最终获奖方案。

Final evaluation: After careful consideration and discussion, the judging panel will decide the winning entries. 

 六、奖项设置

VI. Awards and Prizes

大赛设置优胜奖、入围奖、人气奖及优秀组织奖。

优胜奖1名,奖金人民币100000元,并颁发获奖证书;

入围奖10名,奖金人民币1000元,并颁发获奖证书;

人气奖20名,奖励河南特色文创,并颁发获奖证书;

优秀组织奖若干,颁发获奖证书。

The competition sets up a first prize, 10 second prizes, 20 third prizes, and several excellent organization prizes.

First prize is awarded with a prize of RMB 100,000 and a certificate;

Every second prize is awarded with a prize of RMB 1,000 and a certificate;

Every third prize is awarded with a cultural and creative work with Henan's characteristics and a certificate;

Each excellent organization is awarded a certificate.

七、征集要求 

VII. Requirements

设计思路和理念要清晰而独特,契合主题且易于为广大受众理解。

1、形象标识设计要主题突出、寓意深刻、便于识别、记忆和传播,富于视觉感染力和冲击力,符合国际传播的受众需求,充分彰显河南的文化底蕴和发展活力。

1. The design should be prominent in theme and profound in meaning, which helps identify, remember, and disseminate. It should be visually attractive to foreigners and demonstrate Henan's cultural heritage and development potential.

2、在表现形式和技术手段上应具有较强的应用性,应可适用于平面、立体再创作,应可用于文件、宣传用品和媒体网络宣传等各种场合和载体上使用。

2. The entries should be widely applicable in terms of expression forms and technical means and should be easy to re-create in graphic, solid, or electronic media.

3、设计内容选择要有国际视野,可融入但不限于黄河、黄帝、古都、豫剧、甲骨文、太极、少林、陶瓷、姓氏等具有代表性的河南文化元素。

3. The design content should be selected from a global perspective, which may incorporate but not be limited to representative cultural elements such as the Yellow River, Yellow Emperor, ancient capitals, Henan Opera, oracle bone inscriptions, Tai Chi, Shaolin, ceramics, and surnames, etc.

4、除设计图案,每件作品需配写300字以内的文字说明,其内容旨在阐述标识的设计思路、理念和含义。

4. Each entry should include a brief introduction of 300 words, either in Chinese or English, to illustrate the design concept.

5、设计应注明LOGO比例图、标准色(主色标、辅助色标)和LOGO原尺寸坐标图、矢量图以及LOGO个别应用部分设计(内容不限)。

The entry should contain the following:

  • The proportion diagram.
  • Standard colors (main color code, auxiliary color code).
  • The original size coordinate diagram.
  • Vector diagram of the logo.
  • The design of individual application parts (content is not limited).

 八、作品提交

VIII. Work Submission

作品以电子稿形式提交,按要求上传作品图片,并将作品源文件发送至指定邮箱。

The entry shall be submitted through email, with images uploaded as required, and the source file shall be sent to the email.

作品文件夹命名方式:河南国际传播中心LOGO设计征集+参赛者姓名+联系电话(示例:河南国际传播中心LOGO设计征集 王先生 136********)。

Naming pattern for the entry folder: HICC logo design collectionp-articipant name-phone number (example: HICC logo design collection-Wang XX-136 ********).

文件夹含:作品图片、作品源文件

The folder contains the image and the source files of the entry.

1、作品图片

1. Entry image:

命名方式:参赛者姓名+作品图片。作品图片需要A4竖式排版(高210×宽297mm),300dpi(像素/英寸),JPG或TIF格式,文件大小不超过10M。

Naming: Participant name-entry image. The image requires A4 vertical layout (210mm high×297mm wide, 300dpi (pixels/inch), JPG or TIF format, file size not exceeding 10M.

2、作品源文件

2. Source File

命名方式:参赛者姓名+作品源文件。需提供矢量源文件(AI格式),文件大小不超过10M。

 九、参赛须知

IX. Requirements

1、所有参与者都必须保证本人参赛作品的原创性,不得抄袭或模仿他人作品和创意,且设计方案在参加本次大赛之前未以任何方式公开或发表。因作品为非原创致使主办方使用后第三方提出异议等情况产生的一切法律后果均由参赛者本人承担,主办方有权收回大赛奖金,并保留进一步追责的权利。

1. All participants must ensure the originality of their entries and shall not plagiarize or imitate the works of others. The design scheme must not be publicly disclosed or published in any way before. The participants shall bear all legal consequences caused by third-party objections due to the unoriginality. The organizer has the right to recover the award and reserves the right to pursue responsibility further.

2、参赛者要保证参赛作品必须为首次参赛,且为本次大赛专门创作,禁止一稿多投。征集期间参赛者不得将参赛作品转让或许可给任何第三方,不得用参赛作品参与其他与本征集相同或类似的活动。

2. Participants must ensure that their entries are used in the competition for the first time and are specifically created for this competition. Submission of entry in this competition to other events is prohibited. In the collection procedure, participants cannot transfer or license their entries to any third party. They are not allowed to participate in other events that are the same or similar to this one.

3、本次征集参赛者可以是个人或团体,可以单独完成作品,也可与他人共同完成一件或多件作品,团队参赛最多不可超过3人/团。

3. This competition can be participated in by individuals or groups that may complete on their own or collaborate with others to complete one or more entries. Group participation is limited to a maximum of 3 people.

4、所提交参赛作品版面上不得出现参赛者单位及姓名等与身份相关的信息,否则取消该作品的参评资格。

4. The submitted entries must not contain personal information. Otherwise, the entry will be disqualified.

5、本次征集活动不收费、不退稿,作者请自留作品底稿。

5. There is no charge for the competition or return for entries. Authors should keep their manuscripts.

6、征集及评选结果公布后,未获奖的作品可自行处理。

6. After the evaluation results are announced, the defeated authors can use their entries for other purposes.

7、参赛者必须提供有效的联系方式,若参赛者对获奖通知不作回应,则可能会失去获奖资格,而被其他获奖者取代。

7. Participants must provide accurate contact information. Participants who do not respond to the award notification may lose their eligibility and be replaced by other winners.

8、征集所设立的奖金全部为含税金额,按照国家规定应扣缴个人所得税。

8. All the money awards set up in the competition are tax inclusive, and the personal income tax shall be paid in accordance with China's laws and regulations.

9、参赛者参加本次活动,投稿前应认真阅读征集要求和说明;一经投送稿件,均视为同意上述要求和说明。

10、主办方对本次作品征集活动拥有解释权。

 十、获奖作品权利归属说明

X. Ownership of award-winning entries

1.征集主办方及经主办方所授权的第三方拥有对所有参赛作品进行公开展示、报道、宣传及出版的权利,同时享有对本次参赛获奖作品或方案的所有权、著作权、修改权和使用权等一切知识产权,获奖者本人不得再做任何形式的使用,也不得授权任何第三方机构或个人使用。

1. The organizer of the competition and authorized third parties have the right to publicly display, report, promote, and publish all entries and also enjoy all intellectual property rights such as ownership, copyright, modification rights, and usage rights of the award-winning entries or schemes in this competition. The winner shall not make any further use of the award-winning entries or schemes nor authorize any third-party institutions or individuals to use them.

2.所有等级奖作品,主办方享有对作品或方案的改编、再创作和注册商标的权利,并永久享有作品的使用权及相关权益,包括对作品的授权、许可或保护等权利。

2. For all award-winning entries, the organizer has the right to adapt, recreate, and register trademarks of the entries or schemes and permanently enjoys the right to use the entries and related rights, including the right to authorize, license, or protect the entries.

3.所有等级奖作品获奖后须提供该LOGO的VI设计应用部分(包括:活动广告牌、手提袋、工作胸牌、邀请函、名片、桌牌、纸杯、T恤衫、雨伞、工作车等)。

3. For all award-winning works, the VI application of the logo must be supported, including the following products: poster boards, handbags, workers' badges, invitation letters, business cards, table cards, paper cups, T-shirts, umbrellas, vehicles, etc.
