Tai Chi-themed special stamps issued today

China Post issued a set of three special stamps for Tai Chi on August 8, with the face value of the whole set at 3.60 yuan. It plans to issue 7.1 million sets.

中国邮政于8月8日发行《太极拳》特种邮票1套3枚，全套邮票面值3.60元，计划发行710万套。

The figures on the stamps are drawnin the form of fine brushwork, with black, white, and gray as the overall color tone. The background is presented with Chinese ink painting to reflect the mildness, inclusiveness, and simplenessof Tai Chi.

邮票采用工笔人物形式表现，整体色调以黑白灰为主，背景采用水墨飞白映衬太极拳平和、包容、大道至简的意境。

The Tai Chi-themed stamps feature three parts: Chinese boxing, martial arts equipment and push hands, demonstrating the profundity and long history of traditional Chinese martial arts.

《太极拳》邮票以拳术、器械和推手三个部分为主题，展示了中国传统武术的博大精深和悠久历史。
