甲骨文“车”字,像先秦马车之形。有时写得很完整,包括舆、轮、衡、轭等部分，有时候会简省一些部件。本意是马车。
The oracle bone script form of the character "车(chē)" resembles the shape of a chariot from the Pre-Qin Period. Sometimes it is written in detail, including the carriage, wheels, bar and yoke, while other times some components may be simplifed or omitted. Its original meaning is a chariot.
