A glimpse of the 5th China International Consumer Products Expo
On April 13th, the 5th China International Consumer Products Expo kicked off in Haikou, the capital city of Hainan province. Over 1,700 companies and 4,100 brands from more than 70 countries and regions gathered to showcase innovative products and cutting-edge technologies, highlighting the vibrant energy of the consumer market. Among them, the Henan Pavilion featured over 30 well-known companies with their unique brands, creating a bridge for domestic and international cooperation through a "buy global, sell global" approach. It truly reflected the synergy between consumption and innovation.
4月13日,第五届中国国际消费品博览会在海南海口开幕。来自全球70多个国家和地区的超1700家企业、4100余个品牌汇聚一堂,以琳琅满目的创新产品与前沿技术,展现消费市场的蓬勃活力。其中,河南馆以30余家知名企业及特色品牌亮相,通过“买全球、卖全球”的双向互动,架起国内外合作桥梁,彰显消费升级与开放创新的同频共振。
This year's Expo featured a new "Tech" section, highlighting cutting-edge fields like AI and smart mobility. Yushu Technology introduced China's first mass-produced humanoid robot, Taihu Robotics displayed lightweight prosthetic hand with joint modules, and Qiangnao Technology showcased bionic limbs controlled by brain-machine interfaces — each showcasing how technological innovation is reshaping consumer experiences.
本届消博会首次设立新消费科技展区,人工智能、智慧出行等前沿领域成为焦点。“宇树科技”推出国内首款量产人形机器人,钛虎机器人展示轻量化关节模组与智能灵巧手,“强脑科技”公司则带来仿生肢体与脑机交互设备,以技术创新重塑消费体验。
The "Guo Huo" (domestic goods) exhibition area also buzzed with popularity. In the Henan Pavilion, Mixue firm promoted tea culture with its "Snow King" merchandise, Haoxiangni Co. showcased health food products, and Yangshao Liquor highlighted its 7,000-year-old brewing techniques. Traditional items like Luoyang Tang Tri-colored Pottery and Jiaozuo Openwork Porcelain were displayed alongside food brands like "Hua Baogang" roast chicken and RAMI coffee, showing the innovation of Henan's consumer brands.
与此同时,国货潮品展区人气高涨。河南馆内,蜜雪冰城以“雪王”周边传递茶饮文化魅力,好想你枣业展出健康食品新品,仰韶酒业呈现七千年酿酒技艺的现代传承。洛阳唐三彩、焦作绞胎瓷、安阳甲骨文文创等非遗精品,与“画宝刚”烧鸡、“燃喵”咖啡等美食新老品牌同台亮相,全方位展现河南消费品牌的创新活力。
The Expo was not only a platform to showcase global products but also a hub for business opportunities. Henan companies were using it to introduce their best products internationally and expand partnerships. Data shows that from January to February this year, Henan's retail sales of consumer goods grew by 6.8%, indicating a strong and growing market.
消博会不仅是全球好物展示的窗口,更是合作机遇的孵化器。河南企业通过这一平台,将名优特新产品推向国际市场,同时吸纳全球资源,拓展产业链合作。数据显示,今年1—2月,河南省社会消费品零售总额同比增长6.8%,消费市场持续升温。
Currently, Henan is boosting market potential through measures like handing out consumption vouchers, implementing trade-in policies, and creating diverse shopping experiences. The spillover effect from the Expo has provided a great opportunity for Henan to tap into both domestic and international markets, helping local brands expand globally.
当前,河南正通过消费券发放、以旧换新政策、多样化消费场景打造等举措,进一步激发市场潜力。消博会的溢出效应,为河南融入国内国际双循环、加速品牌“出海”提供了重要契机。
In the past five years, the Expo has grown in size and participation, always staying open to global markets. This year's expo, with the theme "Share Open Opportunities, Co-create a Better Life", strengthens confidence in the ongoing momentum of economic globalization. Leveraging the Hainan Free Trade Port, Henan companies are accelerating efforts to take local brands global and align with international consumption trends.
