On April 18, Henan Provincial Bureau of Statistics released data on the province's economic performance for the first quarter of 2025. The figures showed that Henan's GDP reached 1.4946 trillion yuan, reflecting a 5.9% year-on-year growth at constant prices, which was 0.5 percentage points higher than the national average.

4月18日，河南省统计局公布2025年一季度全省经济运行情况，数据显示，一季度，全省实现地区生产总值（GDP）14945.58亿元，按不变价格计算，同比增长5.9%，高于全国0.5个百分点。

By sector, the value added by the primary industry totaled 65.01 billion yuan, growing by 2.3%; the secondary industry reached 562.36 billion yuan, increasing by 6.6%; and the tertiary industry recorded 867.18 billion yuan, rising by 5.8%.

分产业看，第一产业增加值650.13亿元，增长2.3%；第二产业增加值5623.64亿元，增长6.6%；第三产业增加值8671.81亿元，增长5.8%。

Thanks to a series of both stock and incremental polices, Henan's economy has continued to show steady and positive growth. Key economic indicators have outpaced those of the same period last year and exceeded the national average. The province has made a strong and steady start this year, reaffirming its role as a major economic powerhouse.
