April 24 marks a historic milestone in China's aerospace journey. On this day in 1970, China successfully launched its first artificial satellite, Dongfanghong-1. Five and a half decades later, the Shenzhou XX crew set off for space, symbolizing another baton pass in China's cosmic relay race. This launch, coinciding with both the 55th anniversary of Dongfanghong-1 and the 10th China Space Day, carries special significance.

4月24日，对我国航天事业来说是值得纪念的一天。1970年4月24日，我国第一颗人造地球卫星“东方红一号”成功发射；55年后，神舟二十号航天员乘组奔赴太空，中国人探索浩瀚宇宙的接力赛再次交棒。恰逢“东方红一号”成功发射55周年和第十个中国航天日，也为这次任务增添了一份特殊意义。

Just a day before liftoff, on April 23, the missions three astronauts were officially introduced - and two of them hail from Henan province in central China. Among them, Chen Dong serves as the mission commander. He is the first astronaut from China's second astronaut cohort to fly in space three times. Chen Zhongrui, from the third cohort, is poised for his maiden voyage into space.

就在4月23日，执行这次任务的3名航天员公开亮相，有两位都是咱河南老乡。其中，陈冬担任指令长，是我国第二批航天员中首个三次飞天的航天员；陈中瑞是第三批航天员，即将踏上个人首飞之旅。

From Earth-to-orbit (ETO) transport to spacewalks, from rendezvous and docking to multi-person and multi-day space stays, and the steady progress of the construction of the space lab, each step forward is inseparable from innovation. And every astronaut who embarks on a space mission is a living embodiment of that pioneering spirit.

 从天地往返到出舱行走，从交会对接到多人多天太空驻留、空间实验室建设稳步推进，每一次进步，都离不开创新这个强有力的引擎。而每一名出征的航天员，都是这种创新进取精神最生动的写照。

In 2016, Chen Dong made his first trip to space. "Was it awesome?" "Totally!" - a light-hearted exchange between him and Shenzhou XI commander Jing Haipeng that went viral online. As the first male astronaut of his group to reach space, Chen completed hundreds of training subjects across eight major categories, preparing for that moment of rocket launch. In 2022, he flew again - this time as commander of the Shenzhou XIV crew. It marked both his debut in a leadership role and China's first crewed mission during the space station construction phase.

2016年，陈冬迎来人生中第一次太空之旅。“我问你爽不爽？”“爽！”神十一乘组指令长景海鹏和他的对话走红网络。作为我国第二批航天员中首个飞天的男航天员，他历经多年磨砺，完成了八大类上百个科目的训练任务，终于迎来了火箭腾飞的时刻。2022年，陈冬再获飞天机会，并担任神十四乘组指令长，这既是他首次担任指令长带队出征，也是中国空间站建造阶段的首次载人飞行。

During 183 days in orbit, Chen and his team experienced nine combined module configurations, five rendezvous and dockings, two separations and evacuations, and two module relocation tasks. They successfully completed the space station's basic structure - consisting of the Tianhe core module, Wentian lab, and Mengtian lab - achieving multiple firsts in China's manned spaceflight history and earning the nickname "the busiest crew."

在太空生活的183天里，陈冬和队友们经历了9种组合体构型、5次交会对接、2次分离撤离和2次转位任务，全面完成了以天和核心舱、问天实验舱和梦天实验舱为基本构型的空间站建造，创造了中国载人航天史上多个第一，被誉为“最忙乘组”。

Behind these milestones lies the dedication of Chen, his teammates, and countless aerospace professionals. On China Space Day, Chen embarks on another mission with new crewmates - honoring and advancing the spirit of China's manned space program.

这些成就背后，是他与队友以及无数航天人的智慧与汗水。在中国航天日，陈冬与新的队友们再次奔赴浩瀚寰宇，向着无尽的宇宙深处进发，可以说是对载人航天精神的再次致敬和深情礼赞。

Innovation is also guiding aerospace to better serve economic and social development. The Fengyun meteorological satellites enhance disaster forecasting and prevention; the Beidou Navigation Satellite System now covers the globe, connecting hundreds of millions of households to vital information services. In commercial space, private rockets and satellite internet are growing fast. Aerospace technology is also fueling fundamental science breakthroughs - from microgravity experiments aboard the space station, which support materials science and life sciences research, to lunar sample studies that help unlock the moon's evolutionary history. With the progress of technology, many high-end aerospace technologies are continuously being applied in our daily lives.

创新，也正不断引领航天事业服务经济社会发展。精准气象预报，风云气象卫星为防灾减灾提供数据支持；通信与导航，北斗系统覆盖全球，上亿户家庭通过通信卫星享受信息服务；商业航天新业态，民营火箭、卫星互联网等产业快速发展。航天技术也推动着基础科学不断突破。空间站开展的微重力实验为材料科学、生命医学研究提供独特条件，月球样品分析助力揭示月球演化之谜……伴随着技术进步，许多高大上的航天科技不断应用在我们的生活之中。

In recent years, Henan province has actively aligned itself with the national strategy of building a strong aerospace nation, forging a complete commercial space industry chain - from satellite and rocket manufacturing to satellite tracking and data applications. For instance, satellites from the "Nvwa Constellation" transmit radar data from orbit daily; and at the Tianzhang Intelligent Satellite Manufacturing Base, the first satellites "Made in Henan's Hebi" are being assembled. By identifying its role in the national development landscape, seizing opportunities, building on its strengths, and meeting evolving needs, Henan is carving out its niche in the aerospace industry. Through continuous innovation, Henan and the boundless starry skies are drawing closer to each other - together embracing a brighter future.
